We are now seeking a Trailer Video Editor to craft cinematic, high-energy trailers that captivate audiences and drive engagement across digital platforms.

Role Overview

As a Trailer Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling, story-driven trailers that encapsulate the essence of podcasts, and other digital content. Your work will focus on crafting visually striking, fast-paced trailers that leave a lasting impression and generate excitement. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of pacing, emotion, and storytelling techniques, along with advanced video editing skills and a passion for cinematic content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality, cinematic trailers optimized for social media, YouTube etc.
• Transform raw footage into engaging trailers using dynamic transitions, color grading, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
• Incorporate hooks, cliffhangers, and key insights to maximize audience engagement and conversion.
• Work closely with content creators and marketing teams to ensure alignment with branding and messaging goals.
• Handle revisions efficiently by implementing feedback while maintaining creative integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to trailer editing.
• Ensure all trailers meet company quality standards and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong storytelling and pacing skills to craft engaging narratives.
• Expertise in color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and B-roll integration.
• Understanding of social media and digital marketing trends related to video content performance.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• 1+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in trailer creation or promotional content will be preferred.
