Trailer Mechanic - 4 Day Work Week & No Weekends!

Robertson Trucks Sales, a family owned and operated business since 1984 specializing in quality, preowned medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment is searching for a Trailer Mechanic to join our Team!

Location: Mount Vernon, OH 43050

Schedule: Full time, 4 day work week, 10 hour days, 1st shift - 6:30am - 5:00pm, no weekends. The schedule is awesome and allows you to have a 4 day weekend every other week!

Responsibilities:

• Perform full break service on trailers
• Perform simple wiring maintenance on lights
• Shortening and mounting and dismounting of bodies/boxes
• Installation of DOT bars and lift gates
• Perform modifications of boxes to add accessories
• Ability to perform annual DOT inspections for trailers
• Service trailer tires
• Maintain air brake systems
• Repair interior and exterior of trailers

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of trailer mechanic or similar experience is preferred
• Valid driver license required, Class A CDL would be a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required, training certifications are a plus
• Must possess a positive work attitude
• Must be organized and detail oriented, with good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds in a safe manner
• Must own your own basic tools
• Must possess a commitment to safety and company safety policies
• Ability to maintain excellent housekeeping habits in work area
