Trainee - Chemist

ADAMA seeks applications for a junior position within our Organic Synthesis team. This position will be located at our R&D Center in Hyderabad. The role's responsibilities include active participation in projects and experiments conducted by the synthesis team, thereby supporting core business functions.

Role Title: Trainee Chemist (Third Party Payroll)

Location: Hyderabad

Team: Synthetic Organic Chemistry Lab

Qualification: M.Sc. (Organic chemistry or General chemistry)

Desired Experience

•   0-2 years
•   Knowledge or initial experience in Process Development would be an added advantage (Active agrochemical ingredients/ Active pharma ingredients/ Fine chemicals/ CRO industry).
  
  

Role & Responsibilities

•   Demonstrate sound theoretical knowledge of Organic chemistry.
•   Execute assigned experiments independently.
•   Knowledge of Purification + Hands on experience would be an added advantage.
•   Monitoring the progress of the reaction using chromatographic techniques (Checking TLC - Rf).
•   Interpretation of analytical data (NMR, Mass, IR, trend analysis of HPLC, GC data etc.).
•   Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Chemical structure drawing software is an added advantage.
