Job Title: Management Trainee / Intern – Accounts Payable Support
Department: Finance (Accounts Payable)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Work Type: Full-time, On-site (6-month programme with potential for full-time employment)

Role Purpose

To provide structured support in clearing the AP backlog and managing ongoing invoice processing while developing early-career talent for future finance roles.
This role frees up the AP team to focus on reconciliations, reporting, and higher-value tasks and contributes to Salvone’s goals of efficiency, agility, and operational discipline.

Scope & Relationships

Internal: Finance Team, AP Team, HR, Procurement, Business Units raising invoices
External: Vendors, auditors (as required)
Area(s) of Operation: AP data entry and invoice processing for Salvone and related entities
Size of Team: Works alongside AP team of 4–5 staff

What You’ll Own

You will:

• Support clearance of the existing backlog of ~700 invoices in the first six weeks
• Help manage the live flow of ~1,000–1,200 invoices per month until the procurement module is fully embedded
• Accurately process and code vendor invoices in Odoo and Excel trackers
• Follow AP policies for approvals, cut-offs, and reconciliations
• Maintain daily posting discipline and meet quality and productivity targets
• Collaborate with the AP team to resolve vendor and internal queries
• Participate actively in structured training and progress reviews
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and gain exposure to ERP-driven automation

What You’ll Bring

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and invoice handling
• Attention to detail and discipline in following structured workflows
• Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to ERP systems (Odoo) is an advantage
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn
• Available to work full-time on-site in Dubai for the 6-month programme
