Trainee QA Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Test Engineer (Fresher) with foundational knowledge of ERP systems who is eager to start a career in software testing. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and developers to ensure the quality and reliability of ERP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand ERP functional flows (Finance, HCM, SCM, etc.)
• Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
• Validate ERP modules against business scenarios
• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and QA leads
• Prepare basic test documentation (test cases, test scenarios, test reports)
  
  

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of ERP concepts (Oracle / SAP / NetSuite / Dynamics – any)
• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
• Familiarity with manual testing concepts
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation (preferred)
• Understanding of defect lifecycle
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
  
  

Good To Have (Optional)

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Opkey, etc.)
• Knowledge of ERP modules like Finance, HCM, or SCM
• Internship or project experience in ERP or QA
• Basic understanding of APIs
  
  

Educational Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc (IT/CS) or equivalent
• ERP or Testing certification is a plus
