Trainee QA Engineer

We are currently on the lookout for highly motivated Trainee QA Engineer. In this role, you should be able to work in a challenging environment with seniors. You should have excellent personal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on high visibility and technically complex projects.

• Prepare test data.
• Write acceptance criteria under supervision.
• Verify unit, functional, API and UI test cases under supervision.
• Verify data models under supervision.
• Assist in code reviews.
• Write unit, functional, API and UI test cases.
• Take responsibility for tasks assigned and provide regular updates to the team as per required protocols.
• Manage personal work logs.
• Manage task reports.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of testing Methodologies.
• Document the acceptance criteria.
• Record test progress and results.
• Discover bugs within software.
• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
• Follow the test plan developed senior team members.
• Able to perform Regression and Performance Testing.
• Strong communication/reporting skills.

Desired Languages: Javascript or Typescript
