The Position:
We are looking for a Trainee Software Developer to join our R&D team. The selected candidates will be trained for 3 to 3.5 months to become capable of working on enterprise applications. After the end of the trainee period, there is a good possibility of full-time employment based on satisfactory performance during the trainee period.
The chosen individuals will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Good programming concepts.
- Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Comfortable with SQL queries and basic database development concepts.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and principles.
- Experience or knowledge of .NET for backend development.
- Experience or knowledge of frontend development using React.js and Next.js.
- Understanding of REST APIs and modern web application architecture.
- Experience and knowledge of Git.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts, particularly Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Exposure to generative AI models, or similar AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AI or NLP through prior work, internships, academic projects, or personal projects is a strong plus.
- Passionate about AI development and eager to contribute to building AI-driven features, including NLP-based functionality, AI insights and reporting, and chatbot development.
