Trainee Technical Support Representative

Job Description:
We are looking for Trainee Technical Support Representatives with a Computer Science background who enjoy problem-solving and client interaction more than programming. Selected candidates will go through a 2-month structured training program covering product knowledge, API fundamentals, and communication skills. After successful completion, candidates will be offered a full-time role on probation with growth opportunities in technical support and client success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client technical queries.
  • Understand and explain product features, APIs, and integrations to clients in simple terms.
  • Collect and document client issues, reproduce problems, and escalate to developers when needed.
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve tickets in a timely manner.
  • Proactively communicate updates and resolutions to clients.
  • Maintain knowledge base and support documentation for recurring issues.
  • Ensure a positive client experience through professional communication.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and how systems integrate.
  • Interest in client-facing roles rather than programming/coding.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document technical issues clearly for developers.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and resolving client concerns.
  • Familiarity with ticketing/support tools (Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc.) is a plus.
