Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative theory and practical classes in Pastry Arts, covering fundamentals, advanced techniques, and current trends.
- Create detailed training plans and course materials that effectively communicate pastry concepts and skills to students.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures for a variety of Sponge, pastries, desserts, and bread products.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, helping them develop their technical skills and artistic creativity.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary learning environment in the Pastry Lab.
- Stay up-to-date on current industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum when appropriate.
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a well-rounded culinary education for students.
- Participate in program development and curriculum revisions.
- Assist with maintaining and ordering pastry kitchen supplies.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
