Berkeley is searching for a skilled and passionate Cyber Security Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs and develop practical cyber security skills among learners. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on industry experience, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions in Cyber Security.
- Design and update course content, presentations, labs, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
- Train students on topics such as network security, ethical hacking, threat analysis, risk management, and security best practices.
- Conduct hands-on labs, real-world case studies, and practical demonstrations.
- Evaluate trainee performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, tools, and technologies.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and career-related insights to trainees.
- Support curriculum improvement based on feedback and industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Cyber Security or Information Security roles.
- Strong knowledge of areas such as:
- Network & system security
- Ethical hacking & penetration testing
- Vulnerability assessment
- Incident response & risk management
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, SIEM tools).
- Relevant certifications (preferred): CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent.
- Prior training or teaching experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions.
