Berkeley is searching for a skilled and passionate Cyber Security Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs and develop practical cyber security skills among learners. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on industry experience, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructor-led training sessions in Cyber Security.
  • Design and update course content, presentations, labs, and assessments aligned with industry standards.
  • Train students on topics such as network security, ethical hacking, threat analysis, risk management, and security best practices.
  • Conduct hands-on labs, real-world case studies, and practical demonstrations.
  • Evaluate trainee performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, tools, and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career-related insights to trainees.
  • Support curriculum improvement based on feedback and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Cyber Security or Information Security roles.
  • Strong knowledge of areas such as:
  • Network & system security
  • Ethical hacking & penetration testing
  • Vulnerability assessment
  • Incident response & risk management
  • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, SIEM tools).
  • Relevant certifications (preferred): CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent.
  • Prior training or teaching experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions.
