Job Title: Trainer – Supply Chain Executive (Sustainability)
Job Summary
The Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training to candidates on sustainable supply chain operations. This includes concepts and practical skills related to green procurement, sustainable logistics, responsible warehousing, ethical sourcing, circular economy models, carbon footprint reduction, and compliance with environmental/social governance (ESG) standards.
The trainer ensures trainees are job-ready for industry roles by combining classroom teaching, case-based learning, practical simulations, assessments, and placement/OJT support aligned with relevant Qualification Packs (QP/NOS).
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery (Theory + Practical)
- Deliver structured training for Supply Chain Executive (Sustainability) batches as per curriculum/QP/NOS.
- Teach end-to-end supply chain functions with a sustainability lens:
- Procurement and vendor management
- Inbound/outbound logistics
- Warehousing and inventory
- Distribution and last-mile operations
- Reverse logistics and returns
- Use interactive methods: case studies, simulations, group work, industry videos, and tools.
2. Sustainability & ESG Content Coverage
- Train candidates on key sustainability topics, including:
- Sustainable supply chain principles and frameworks
- Green procurement and supplier evaluation
- Responsible sourcing, ethics, and traceability
- Waste reduction and process efficiency (Lean/5S basics)
- Circular economy practices (reuse, refurbish, recycle, remanufacture)
- Carbon footprint basics and reduction methods
- ESG reporting awareness and compliance expectations
- Build awareness of local and global sustainability standards relevant to supply chain work.
3. Tools, Data & Reporting Orientation
- Train on operational documentation and sustainable reporting:
- Purchase orders, GRN, stock registers, dispatch documents
- Supplier scorecards including sustainability criteria
- Green logistics KPIs (fuel efficiency, route optimization, load utilization)
- Basic dashboards/MIS reporting using Excel/ERP simulations
- Introduce commonly used supply chain systems at a foundational level.
4. Practical / Lab / Simulation Sessions
- Conduct hands-on sessions on:
- Sustainable procurement process simulations
- Inventory optimization with waste minimization
- Warehouse layout and energy-efficient practices
- Packaging optimization and eco-friendly materials
- Reverse logistics workflows
- Calculation of basic sustainability KPIs (waste %, rejection %, on-time delivery, carbon awareness indicators)
- Ensure trainees can execute SOPs and workflows confidently.
5. Employability & Workplace Readiness
- Provide employability modules:
- Communication for supply chain roles
- Documentation discipline and reporting
- Teamwork and problem-solving
- Gender sensitivity and workplace ethics
- Prepare trainees for interviews and shop-floor/office expectations.
6. Assessment & Certification Support
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and mock tests.
- Conduct theory and practical assessments aligned to outcomes.
- Maintain assessment evidence:
- Attendance and progress sheets
- Candidate portfolios and project work
- Photos/videos of practical sessions
- Support SSC/third-party assessment and certification processes.
7. Batch Management & Learner Support
- Manage batch discipline, motivation, and inclusivity.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial coaching.
- Track candidate progress and ensure timely course completion.
8. Placement / OJT Support (if applicable)
- Coordinate with placement team for employer linkage.
- Facilitate industry sessions, plant/warehouse visits, guest talks.
- Support OJT planning, monitoring, and follow-up.
9. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily training logs, session plans, trainee feedback, and inventory of lab resources.
- Submit weekly/monthly performance reports to Training/Project Manager.
- Document placements, OJT status, and post-placement tracking if required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Minimum: Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields.
- Preferred: Postgraduate/MBA in Operations/Supply Chain/Sustainability.
Experience
- 3–6 years in supply chain/logistics/warehouse operations with exposure to sustainability/ESG practices.
- Prior training/teaching experience in skill development programs is highly preferred.
- Experience working with ERP/MIS reporting and supply chain documentation is desirable.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
