Exciting Job Opening: Nursing Training and Development Officer (Subject Matter Expert)

The Nursing Training and Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing education and training programs that promote clinical competence, patient safety, and quality care. This role is key to onboarding new nurses, coordinating continuing education, and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Assess training needs and develop suitable training programs for nursing staff.
• - Conduct induction, skill development, and refresher training sessions.
• - Ensure training on patient care, safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.
• - Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• - Maintain training records, attendance, and performance assessments.
• - Collaborate with nursing leaders and management to align training with organizational goals.
• - Provide mentorship and guidance to nurses for career development.
• - Visit nursing colleges to present and inform about training modules and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Msc Nursing/ Bsc Nursing
• Experience: 0–3 years
• Proficient in MS Office and hospital management software (if applicable)
• Good communication skills in English and local language
• Pleasant personality and professional appearance
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
