Nursing Educator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum & Program Development
  • Design or revise nursing curricula, courses, modules.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory/accreditation requirements and institutional objectives.
  • Integrate evidence-based practice, research findings, and innovations in healthcare into the teaching material.
  • Teaching & Delivery
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, lab sessions, workshops, simulation-based learning etc.
  • Supervise clinical training/practice: ensure students/nurses gain hands-on experience under guidance.
  • Use varied pedagogical methods: in-person, online/blended learning, simulation, case studies etc.
  • Assessment & Feedback
  • Develop/implement assessments, exams, assignments; evaluate student/nurse progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentoring, remediation where necessary.
  • Mentorship & Guidance
  • Serve as advisor/mentor to students; support their academic, professional, ethical development.
  • Help orient new nursing staff and assist with continuing education for existing staff.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Participate in accreditation, ensuring the educational programs meet required standards.
  • Monitor outcomes, review programs for effectiveness; revise based on feedback and data.
  • Research & Scholarly Activities
  • Stay current with latest developments, research in nursing & healthcare.
  • Possibly conduct research, publish, present in conferences, contribute to the academic body of knowledge.
  • Administrative & Collaboration
  • Work with other departments/faculty/clinical staff to coordinate education programs and clinical placement
  • Manage resources, possibly budget for educational tools/labs/simulation centers.
  • Serve on committees related to academic governance, student affairs, curriculum review etc.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) minimum; Master’s in Nursing (MSN)

Licensure/Certifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)) are advantageous.

Clinical Experience: Several years of hands-on clinical nursing practice. Prior experience in specialty areas is a plus.

Teaching / Educational Experience: Experience teaching or mentoring; experience with clinical instruction; familiarity with developing curriculum and assessments.

Skills: Strong communication (oral & written), interpersonal skills; ability to adapt teaching styles; good organizational and time management; proficiency with educational technology / simulation tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
