One Safe Place is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to lead specialized law enforcement training
initiatives under the Hidden Homicides: A Collaborative Response to Domestic Violence project
funded under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Justice and Training Program. The Coordinator
will design, implement, and deliver evidence-based training programs for law enforcement, prosecutors,
and other crime prevention professionals, focusing on domestic violence dynamics, high-risk factors, and
staged suicides. This role also includes coordinating a multi-disciplinary team and developing protocols
for case reviews to strengthen investigative practices and enhance victim safety.
Job Title: Hidden Homicide - Training Coordinator
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field
from an accredited university (required).
Minimum of three years’ experience working with crime victims or in law enforcement.
Experience in training development and delivery preferred.
Strong knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, investigative protocols, and forensic
indicators.
Availability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed.
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work in various environments, both on and off-site.
Responsibilities:
Develop curriculum covering crime scene indicators, victimology, offender behavior, and multi-
disciplinary collaboration.
Coordinate and conduct regional training sessions for homicide detectives, crime scene
investigators, and first responders.
Work closely with law enforcement agencies, forensic professionals, prosecutors, and victim
service providers to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach.
Track training outcomes through assessments, maintain program documentation, and contribute
to reporting for grant compliance.
Support public awareness initiatives related to domestic violence homicide prevention.
Travel within Tarrant County to conduct training for law enforcement jurisdictions
Reporting and Evaluation: Track participation, maintain program documentation, and contribute
to reporting for grant compliance and program evaluation.
Job Type:
Full-time. Work schedule includes 40 hours per week; may include evening and weekend hours due to
training activities.
Salary:
$45,000 – $50,000 per year, less applicable taxes and deductions.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
