POSITION SUMMARY
The Training and Development Specialist supports ODW’s mission to develop high-performing associates by overseeing the execution of onboarding, training, and skill development programs within the operation. This role ensures that all hourly and professional hourly associates are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to succeed in their roles safely and efficiently.
Reporting into HR, The Training and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s learning and development strategy across multiple operational sites. This exempt-level position is responsible for influencing, driving, and standardizing training initiatives that align with organizational goals. The Specialist will collaborate closely with Operations Supervisors, Managers, and Directors to ensure training programs are effective, compliant, and consistent across up to six locations. This role reports directly to the Training and Development Manager.
