Delivers learning and development interventions to effectively on-board, train, coach and measure performance of management, staff and physicians in meeting established organization goals.
Prepares and maintains training materials, reference guides, and eLearning materials available through a variety of sources. Keeps contents up-to-date in a timely manner to ensure employees have most current information.
Responsible for on-boarding new employees by providing tools and checklists to help new employees assimilate into the organization and counsels others on the on-boarding and integration of new employees into their specific department/division.
Organize pre- and post-learning activities, communications and materials. Assists the learner registration process.
Measures and reports on training analytics such as attendance, course completion, assessment scores and learning impact, among other things. Creates and delivers reports demonstrating compliance with hospital accreditations and other regulatory requirements as needed.
Supports in the development, design and integration of employee and leadership competency models including data collection, organization, and validation efforts.
Perform studies of the training needs by analysis of departments and develops an annual master training plan to cover all in-service special and external training programs.
Submits periodic reports for training activities budget and maintains departmental records and statistics.
Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Coordinate with university for internship and co-op trainees.
Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his/her competence as required by the direct manager or Human Resource Director.
