Training Executive - MENA

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Training Executive will be responsible for delivering and implementing training programs across Gaia and our sister venues in the MENA and GCC region. This role is highly hands-on and floor-focused, ensuring that all employees are trained in line with Gaia’s standards of service, brand DNA, and operational excellence.


R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

  • Deliver practical, on-the-floor training in service standards, allergens, menu knowledge, upselling, guest relations, and hospitality etiquette.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new joiners, ensuring smooth integration into the Gaia culture.
  • Provide side-by-side coaching and mentoring to team members during service hours through 1Huddle.
  • Create engaging training content such as manuals, videos, workshops and games in 1Huddle tailored to operational needs.


REGIONAL TRAINING


  • Travel regularly to Gaia venues across MENA and GCC to roll out training programs.
  • Align training content across venues to maintain brand consistency.
  • Support pre-opening training programs for new venues, ensuring teams are fully prepared ahead of launch.


EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT & PERFORMANCE


  • Assess staff performance on the floor, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback to General Managers and Operations teams.
  • Track employee progress through training records and follow-up evaluations.
  • Encourage continuous learning and career development opportunities for staff.


PROGRAMS & REPORTING


  • Prepare monthly and quarterly training schedules in coordination with management.
  • Support the development of workshops, refresher courses, and team-building initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate reports on training activities, attendance, and progress.
  • Share timely updates and feedback with management on training outcomes and operational needs.




QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


  • 2+ years of experience in training or hospitality operations (luxury dining or F&B preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of allergens, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable with frequent travel across the region.
  • Passion for hospitality, people development, and guest experience.
