Position Overview

The Training Coordinator is responsible for leading the training program for all employees to ensure they receive the necessary support and training to do their jobs accurately and effectively. The Training Coordinator will also identify training needs, partner in the creation of development plans, and coordinate and conduct training programs at the facility.

Shift: 1st - Shift 5am - 3:05pm M- F

Pay Rate: $29.00/ Hr.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Understanding and training on the importance of scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Responsible for the onboarding of all new hires, reviewing both Safety and GMPs.
  • Follow required TWI framework while carrying out training on bag specs, common quality defects, packing methods, etc.
  • Train new hies in the proper evaluation and packing of bags in accordance with Key Operating Procedures.
  • Regular updates and communication among Human Resources, Quality, and Production.
  • Responsible for tracking of new hires’ training during first 90 days, and while working with trainers on their designated shift.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of training records verifying they are up to date for each employee and working with HR on ensuring training records are filed properly.
  • Collaborate with Leadership team to ensure that issues are being addressed to optimize performance of new hire & mentorship program.
  • Partner with Leadership team and Training & Development on material and instructional design.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the training impact for employee skills and KPI’s.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after sessions for continued improvements.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience in training abilities, 2-3 years prior experience in training or leadership required.
Specific Skills: Ability to communicate instructions in multiple ways for training needs, successfully manage projects at multiple stages with high attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication. Complete full training cycle: assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, & evaluate.
Equipment & Machinery: Hold general knowledge of all facility roles, learn training processes for auxiliary equipment and roles.
Computer Experience & Software: Microsoft Office Suite.
