We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Manager (F&B) to lead the training and development function across our casual dining restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant training systems, service standards, operational excellence, and team development within a fast-paced casual dining restaurant environment.
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs for restaurant staff, supervisors, chefs, and management teams to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive training programs for FOH and BOH teams.
- Design structured onboarding programs for new hires (induction, orientation, service culture training).

- SOP compliance and operational standards
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions for Area Manager, Restaurant Managers and Supervisors.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, audits, mystery guest feedback, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with Operations and HR departments for manpower planning and competency development.
- Develop training manuals, SOP handbooks, and learning materials.
- Lead pre-opening training programs for new restaurant launches.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards aligned with local municipality regulations in Oman.
- Monitor and improve KPIs related to staff productivity, guest satisfaction, and service consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in Training & Development (preferred).
- Food Safety Certification.
- Strong knowledge of casual dining restaurant operations.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training management tools.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 3 years in a Training Manager or similar role.
- Proven experience in casual dining restaurant chains.
- Strong background in developing SOPs, service standards, and structured training systems.
- Experience handling multi-unit restaurant operations is preferred.
- Experience in GCC region is an advantage.
