Training Manager - Sales

Job Purpose

The Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of the sales team. The role ensures that sales representatives understand dairy products, sales techniques, customer service standards, market trends, and company policies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual sales training plans.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new sales employees.
  • Design training materials, manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
  • Train sales teams on:
  • Dairy products and product features.
  • Sales techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Route-to-market strategies.
  • Food safety and quality standards.
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews and sales data analysis.
  • Organize workshops, coaching sessions, and field training.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback surveys.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify skill gaps.
  • Monitor industry trends and introduce best training practices.
  • Manage training budgets and external training providers.
  • Maintain training records and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales training, preferably within FMCG, dairy, food & beverage, or agricultural sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and customer management.
  • Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Sales Director / Commercial Director / HR Director
  • Supervises: Sales Trainers, Training Coordinators, or Learning Specialists

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
