Training Officer F&B

We are seeking an experienced Training Officer to develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for our restaurant and cloud kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver excellent customer service, maintain food safety standards, and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for Front of House (FOH), Back of House (BOH), and Head Office employees.
• Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
• Deliver training on SOPs, customer service, food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and company policies.
• Evaluate employees' training needs through performance assessments and operational feedback.
• Conduct on-the-job coaching and regular refresher training.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and competency assessments.
• Coordinate with Operations Managers and Restaurant Managers to identify skill gaps.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and operational KPIs.
• Prepare monthly training calendars and reports.
• Support employee development, succession planning, and leadership training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local food safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Training Officer or Learning & Development professional in the F&B or Hospitality industry.
• Mandatory experience in restaurants, cafés, cloud kitchens, or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of customer service, restaurant operations, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel between restaurant locations when required.
