Job Purpose:

The Training Specialist will deliver and facilitate training programs for workers, blue-collar employees, and drivers to ensure compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site training sessions, workshops, and refresher courses for workers, drivers, and blue-collar staff.
  • Ensure training content is aligned with company standards and operational procedures.
  • Identify training needs through performance feedback, site audits, and employee assessments.
  • Monitor trainee progress and prepare reports on training effectiveness.
  • Support the Training Manager in developing training materials and programs.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning among employees.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably in Construction, Engineering, Waste Management, or Facility Management industries.
  • Experience training blue-collar employees, drivers, and operational staff.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and practical training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility to travel to multiple sites as required.


Preferred:

  • Training & Development certifications or Safety Training certifications.
