Training Specialists - Stockton and Pleasanton

Position: Training Specialist

Locations: Stockton $25.75-$28.33 per hour

Pleasanton: $32.51-$35.76 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties

· Conduct Onboarding Bundle Training

· Conduct or facilitate CPR/FA training classes

· Travel to other offices for training

o Pacific Homecare Services reasonably expects driving to be a job function. An alternative form of transportation is not comparable in travel time or cost to the company.

· Prepare and send Agency Care Provider packages as needed

· Prepare necessary materials and equipment for CPR/FA training classes

Ensure onboarding materials are on hand in the office

· Assign in-service training to Agency Care Providers

· Assist with the in-service training program (Pacific Academy)

· Coordinate and conduct live in-service training classes for Agency Care Providers

· Research in-service training topics/techniques

· Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for CPR/FA training

· Maintain confidentiality of our clients and care providers in compliance with HIPAA

· Attend quarterly staff meetings

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

· A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or three years of work experience in a similar position

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and implement employee orientations

Demonstrated efficient organizational skills and ability to multitask

· Must currently possess or obtain a CPR/FA instructor level certification within the first 30 days of employment. We pay for the certification.

· Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)

· Ability to communicate course material in a clear and understandable manner

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not mandatory

· Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

· Must successfully pass DMV Motor vehicle check and meet company insurability requirements.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
