The section of Transition Medicine (TM) in the Department of Medicine is recruiting a certified Physician to join our expanding primary care team. The Transition Medicine Clinic provides high-quality medical care to young adults and adults with Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The candidate will provide outpatient services at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center McNair Campus and the Center for Pursuit. Duties will include direct patient care, participation in the education of trainees, and participating in section meetings/conferences. Opportunities for research, quality improvement, and leadership activities will be strongly supported.
The Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine is the largest adult practice department at Baylor College of Medicine. The Section of Transition Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to provide services at the Baylor Medicine McNair and Pursuit Center clinics. Ideal candidates are patient-centered and committed to excellence in providing quality care in an inpatient setting.
