Translator – Urdu & Chinese

As part of our expansion into Chinese-speaking markets, we are seeking a highly skilled translator fluent in Urdu & Chinese (Mandarin) to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who is not only linguistically talented but also culturally aware, adaptable, and passionate about connecting people through language.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translation & Interpretation: Accurately translate written materials, including contracts, reports, marketing content, and correspondence, from Chinese to Urdu/English and vice versa.

- Live Interpretation: Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, video conferences, and events to ensure smooth communication between

- Cultural Mediation: Offer insights into cultural nuances to help avoid misunderstandings and strengthen business relationships.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to support projects requiring bilingual communication.

- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread translations to maintain accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.

Requirements:

- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and Urdu; proficiency in English is highly desirable.

- Proven experience in translation and/or interpretation (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

- Strong understanding of cultural differences.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Degree or certification in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language Studies, or related fields.

- Experience in industries such as trade, tourism, education, or technology.

- Familiarity with translation software or tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
