Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transport Driver/Mental Health Tech to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, treatment facilities, or correctional clinics, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Assist mental health professionals with patient observation, behavioral management, and crisis intervention as needed during transport or within clinical settings.
• Maintain detailed records of patient transport activities, behavioral observations, and medical information in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth transitions between transportation and clinical care environments.
• Provide compassionate support to individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs, fostering a respectful and safe environment during all interactions.

Requirements

• Prefer experience working in psychiatric or behavioral health settings, including hospital or corrections facility medical clinics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating transport vehicles in healthcare environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach towards individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions.
