Transport Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day school transport operations efficiently
• Plan and allocate bus routes based on distance, student strength, and time optimization
• Ensure strict compliance with the Safe Vahan Scheme and other Punjab government transport norms
• Coordinate with school management, drivers, helpers, and parents
• Maintain transport records, attendance, vehicle logs, and route charts
• Monitor vehicle safety, driver behavior, and punctuality
• Handle emergencies and ensure student safety at all times
• Verify vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and fitness certificates
• Implement safety drills and transport discipline procedures
• In-depth knowledge of transportation schemes and policies in Punjab
• Strong understanding of school transport operations
• Good mathematical skills for route planning, distance calculation, and capacity management
• Expertise in route allocation and optimization
• Familiarity with Safe Vahan Scheme guidelines
• Ability to manage staff and resolve transport-related issues

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Transport In-Charge / Transport Manager in a school is mandatory
• Experience handling school buses, vans, and transport staff

Education:

• Graduate preferred (any stream)

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
