Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support Patient Transport team members to ensure high performance and engagement
• Coordinate and prioritize patient transport requests to maintain efficient workflow and timely service
• Monitor staff productivity, performance, and adherence to departmental and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and hospital departments to ensure seamless patient flow and satisfaction
• Train, onboard, and mentor new team members; provide ongoing development and feedback
• Ensure all transport equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained for patient safety
• Enforce compliance with HHS policies, hospital protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in scheduling, staffing, and resolving operational challenges in real time
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and service excellence
• Step in to assist with patient transport duties as needed to support team operations
