Transportation Care Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and professional transportation care coordinators to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will handle incoming calls from members helping them with there healthcare related transportation needs. You will also help with benefits eligibility, resolving issues with previous appointments and general customer service. The ideal candidate excels in communication, is process and detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to ensuring a positive customer experience.

**Classes start on May 4th to provide plenty of time to complete background and drug screen**

**We are currently hiring in the state of Oklahoma**

Essential Functions

  • Responding to incoming member calls with a warm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Assist with inquiries regarding medical related transportation needs from members of specific insurance carriers.
  • Provide clear and accurate information based on the member's needs.
  • Navigate through multiple client systems by utilizing function keys to ensure accurate process for ride transportation.
  • Follow company scripts and guidelines to ensure consistency and a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborating with various departments within the organization to effectively address and resolve transportation and eligibility issues.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare related regulations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, you must be experienced on a PC. We prefer to hire candidates that type 25 WPM minimum.

Technology Requirements:

  • Applicants will be required to use their own laptop with fully updated Windows 11
  • 12GB of Ram
  • Ability for Hardwired internet access (No Wifi)
  • Minimum of 30MBS download and 10MBS upload
  • Dual Monitors and Noise Cancellation Headsets will be supplied if needed.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time, fully remote position.
  • Open availability from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
  • $13.00 per hour plus an attendance bonus and other incentives.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year in customer service, call center or medical related experience.
  • Must be able to pass criminal and employment background check.
  • Must be able to pass drug test with the exception of THC
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high call volume with patience, empathy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using customer support software and call-handling systems is required. (Gmail, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Flock, and the ability to learn and navigate additional data entry systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
