Position Details

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other scheduled destinations.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation arrangements.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff regarding transportation and appointment details.
• Resident Assistance: Provide courteous, hands-on assistance to residents when boarding or exiting the vehicle.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the facility vehicle.
• Administrative Support: Maintain accurate documentation of appointments, transportation schedules, and resident needs.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License: Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Certification: CNA certification is required.
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on resident safety and comfort.
• Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or geriatrics is a plus.
