JOB SUMMARY::
Transport residents to and from hospitals and nursing homes. Must be comfortable with the elderly and/or vulnerable population.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating the facility’s transport bus or van in a safe manner to and from community hospitals
- Ensures the bus is clean and available to transport residents and patients daily
- Work with Sapphire nursing home admission teams to coordinate resident transportation for the day
- Assisting residents on and off the bus and into and out of appointments safely
- Being friendly and professional at all times; interacts well with residents, care providers and co-workers. Understands they represent Sapphire Health Services and always demonstrates integrity and a positive outlook.
- Other duties as assigned
- Valid Oregon state driver’s license that is unexpired and in good standing.
- Preferred experience driving a transport bus, Large Van, or similar vehicle.
- Valid Oregon CNA license is preferred.
