Transportation Manager

Matheny Medical and Educational Center has a career opportunity available for a Full Time Transportation Manager.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with on-call responsibilities.

Duties of this position include:

Safety & Risk Management:

• Develop, implement, and enforce transportation safety policies.
• Ensure proper wheelchair securement and passenger restraint use.
• Conduct safety audits, ride-alongs, and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Maintain DOT, FMCSA, and ADA compliance.
• Manage driver qualification files.
• Ensure drug & alcohol testing and hours-of-service compliance.
• Coordinate audits and inspections.

Driver Supervision & Training:

• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers.
• Provide training on defensive driving, securement, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations.

Fleet Management:

• Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure vehicles are equipped with safety and securement equipment.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules.

Operations & Scheduling:

• Coordinate routes and schedules.
• Monitor efficiency while maintaining safety.
• Collaborate with program and administrative staff.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $72,500 annually.
