Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a dependable, patient, and professional Transportation Specialist to join our growing team. The Transportation Specialist is responsible for safely transporting elderly and disabled clients to and from medical appointments, work, and community outings, ensuring a positive, respectful, and dignified experience during every ride.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport clients in a safe, timely, and courteous manner to their scheduled destinations.
  • Assist clients in and out of vehicles, including those in wheelchairs or requiring stretcher transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedules and any changes.
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs, including pick-up/drop-off times and mileage.
  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness and readiness of the vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful interaction with clients, maintaining their dignity and

independence.

  • Report any incidents, delays, or client concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record CDL V with passenger endorsement is not required but would be a plus.
  • Experience working with elderly and/or disabled populations is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull clients using mobility aids when necessary.
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed to safety and quality service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
