🚶‍♂️ Position Summary

As a Patient Transporter , you’ll play a vital role in the patient experience—ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transport throughout the hospital.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to move patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• 🏥 Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
• 🛏️ Assist patients on/off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs
• 🧼 Clean and disinfect transport equipment before & after use
• 📋 Transport charts, lab specimens, and medications (non-controlled)
• 💬 Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams
• ⏱️ Meet productivity and service standards
• ⚠️ Maintain safety standards and proper equipment storage
• 💻 Use Epic Transport Dispatch system efficiently
• 🔒 Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
• 🤝 Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

🎓 Requirements

• 📖 Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
• 💻 Ability to use hospital systems and technology
• 🩺 BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
  
  

💼 Preferred Experience

• 6 months of customer service OR
• 6 months of volunteer experience
