As a Patient Transporter, you’ll play a vital role in the patient experience—ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transport throughout the hospital.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to move patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
- ️ Assist patients on/off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs
- Clean and disinfect transport equipment before & after use
- Transport charts, lab specimens, and medications (non-controlled)
- Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams
- ️ Meet productivity and service standards
- ️ Maintain safety standards and proper equipment storage
- Use Epic Transport Dispatch system efficiently
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills (Epic, Outlook, etc.)

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to use hospital systems and technology
- BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
