  • ️ Position Summary
As a Patient Transporter, you’ll play a vital role in the patient experience—ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transport throughout the hospital.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to move patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
  • ️ Assist patients on/off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs
  • Clean and disinfect transport equipment before & after use
  • Transport charts, lab specimens, and medications (non-controlled)
  • Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams
    • ️ Meet productivity and service standards
    • ️ Maintain safety standards and proper equipment storage
  • Use Epic Transport Dispatch system efficiently
  • Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Basic computer skills (Epic, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to use hospital systems and technology
  • BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Experience

  • 6 months of customer service OR
  • 6 months of volunteer experience
