Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Trash Truck Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will operate various types of waste collection trucks, including, rear loader and sideload trucks. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help keep our communities clean and safe, ensuring efficient load & unload operations while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate different types of waste collection trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds.
• Load and unload waste materials efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed during collection and disposal processes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Follow designated routes for commercial driving and delivery schedules with punctuality.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including load counts and service records.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection schedules.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicles.
• Previous truck driving experience required.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to perform manual lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Prior experience in delivery driving or waste collection is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1,300.00 per week
