Hours: Fridays, 8-hour shift (with potential for additional hours as the business grows)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Trash Truck Driver to join our family-operated business in Lakeville, MA. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring our trash collection and disposal services run smoothly and efficiently. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for growth as our business expands.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a trash truck safely and efficiently on designated routes.

• Assist the trash picker in collecting household trash and other items as needed.

• Help in dumping dumpsters and managing waste loads at designated facilities.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in proper working order.

• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving and waste management.

• Interact professionally with customers and team members to uphold the company’s reputation for approachability and reliability.

• Complete all required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.

• Ability to operate a trash truck and related equipment safely.

• Physical ability to assist with trash collection, lift heavy items, and work in varying weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• Availability to work 8 hours on Fridays, with flexibility for future expanded hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in trash collection, waste management, or related industries.

• Knowledge of Lakeville, MA, and surrounding areas.
