Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience, ARRT or RCIS certification, and proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cath procedures for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital
• Patient population includes middle adults to geriatrics
• Procedures include diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, Rotablator, IABP, and closure devices
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS required (AHA)
• Must be proficient in scrubbing and circulating
• Skills required: diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, Rotablator, IABP, closure devices, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and sterile procedure and equipment setup
• Epic EMR experience required
• FL RN license or compact license required if applicable

Additional Information

• This is a smoke-free facility
• A Basic Arrhythmia assessment is required for this position; candidates must pass with an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% in the lethal rhythm section, and 83% in all other sections
• Proof of vaccination status is required; declinations are not accepted
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered at a different pay rate
• Candidates must have all required certifications at the time of consideration
