Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing end-to-end travel solutions to clients, including consultation, itinerary planning, booking, documentation, and after-sales support. The role requires strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach to ensure a seamless travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to assess travel requirements and recommend suitable options based on preferences and budget.
  • Prepare and present customized travel itineraries, packages, and quotations.
  • Handle reservations for flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and related services.
  • Advise clients on visa requirements, travel insurance, documentation, and other mandatory regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy in booking, invoicing, and record-keeping as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain effective vendor relations to ensure competitive pricing and service quality.
  • Address client queries, manage changes, and resolve service-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets through efficient handling of inquiries and effective upselling.
  • Keep abreast of new destinations, industry trends, airline policies, and travel regulations.
  • Contribute to overall team performance and company growth objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in travel consulting, ticketing, or tour operations.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems / GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international destinations and travel documentation processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and online booking platforms.
