Travel Consultant

Job Purpose: As a Travel Consultant, you will assist clients in planning and booking their ideal vacations. You will provide personalized recommendations based on clients’ preferences and needs, support the booking process, and ensure a seamless travel experience from start to finish. Your role involves collaborating with senior consultants, handling administrative tasks, and contributing to achieving the team's sales targets..

Key Tasks:

Client Consultation:

• Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements.
• Offer tailored holiday packages and travel solutions based on client needs.

Booking Management:

• Assist in booking flights, accommodations, and other travel arrangements.
• Process and confirm reservations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requests.

Administrative Support:

• Prepare and maintain travel documentation, including itineraries and vouchers, end to end transactions.

Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Co-ordination with other departments or offices in India or Globally

Market Research:

• Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
• Provide clients with up-to-date information on travel options and promotions

Sales and Customer Service:

• Support the team in achieving sales targets through effective up-selling and cross-selling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.

Dimensions:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service ,Travel agencies, operations or sales role is advantageous but not required.
• Strong interest in travel and tourism.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of booking systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
