Job Purpose

To provide customers with desired information on travel options, assist them in choosing the right route/ airline suiting their budgets and process their tickets in order to sustain continued customer patronage and reach sales targets.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide customers with desired information on various travel options available, assist them to choose the most suitable route/ airline according to their budget/ needs, and process their tickets in time to enable them to make well informed decisions on their travel & embark on the journey.

Make proposals to clients to limit the cost of travel or offer services to reduce the add-on costs like airport pick-ups, hotel accommodation etc.

Comply with all administrative policies and procedures relating to ticketing and collection of cash/ cheques from customers, in order to avoid discrepancies and disputes at a later date and to maintain transparency in all transactions dealing with money.

Maintain an up-to-date database on all regular customers pertaining to their bookings, frequent traveler numbers, meal / seat preferences etc., to offer them personalized service and sustain their continued patronage.

Receive and process customer feedback, after completion of travel, to gauge their views/ opinions on the level & quality of service offered by ATTA and scope for improvement, if any.

Follow-up with defaulting customers to collect overdue payments to enable the company to settle its’ accounts and achieve its’ business objectives.

Update ones’ product knowledge, general information on latest developments, rules/ regulations pertaining to travel industry to be enabled to offer the precise kind of advice that suits the customers’ needs and ensures their satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
:

3-5 years experience in the travel industry
-
Intermediate / “A’ Levels
-
Amadeus GDS knowledge is required
-
Additional qualifications in IATA certification would be an advantage
