Position: Travel Consultant

Location: Hyderabad (Himayatnagar and surrounding areas)
Positions Available: 2 openings - One Fresher & One Experienced (1-2 years)
Employment Type: Full-time (Fresher on stipend basis, Experienced on salary basis)
Working Days: 6 days per week
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with remote availability for after-hours bookings)

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Travel Consultants to join our Hyderabad team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about travel and customer service, eager to build a career in the travel industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesBooking & Reservations

• Create and manage flight bookings (domestic and international) using various travel portals
• Search for competitive fares based on real-time availability
• Compare pricing and options across multiple booking platforms
• Process reservations efficiently and accurately

Customer Service

• Explain fare differences, booking rules, and travel policies to customers clearly
• Provide expert guidance on best travel options based on customer requirements
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly

Post-Booking Services

• Maintain detailed Excel sheets tracking all bookings (India bookings and international bookings separately)
• Schedule and perform web check-ins for passengers based on booking records
• Send boarding passes to clients promptly after check-in
• Monitor flight status for all bookings and proactively inform clients of any changes or delays
• Update passenger details on airline portals
• Manage booking modifications and cancellations

Travel Documentation

• Research and advise on visa requirements for different countries
• Stay updated on international travel regulations and requirements

Emergency Support

• Handle urgent and emergency bookings as needed
• Provide remote support for after-hours booking requirements (post 6:00 PM)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• Strong computer skills and comfort with online booking platforms
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Telugu
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems

Preferred:

• Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is a plus
• Understanding of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
• Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service
