Job Description – Travel Consultant / Travel Agent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets
  • Research, plan, and book flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and other travel services
  • Provide accurate information on travel regulations (passports, visas, vaccinations, etc.)
  • Recommend suitable travel packages and services based on client preferences and history
  • Prepare customized and detailed travel itineraries
  • Handle booking changes, cancellations, and emergency travel issues professionally
  • Maintain and update client records and travel documents
  • Build and sustain relationships with travel vendors and partners
  • Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and industry news
  • Achieve sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple bookings and work under pressure

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in the travel and tourism industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
