Travel Coordinator

ASRS is seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient travel operations for employees and contractors, especially those working on engineering-related assignments. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling travel arrangements across multiple locations while managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with company travel policies.

Key Responsibilities of Travel Coordinator

Coordinate and manage end-to-end travel arrangements including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, visas, and transportation.
Maintain detailed travel records and ensure timely distribution of itineraries and travel documents.
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure cost-effective travel planning.
Monitor travel policy compliance and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies.
Provide support for travel budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
Stay updated on travel restrictions, airline policies, and visa regulations relevant to the UAE and other destinations.
Assist in organizing travel for large-scale mobilization or project deployments.

Qualification Required for Travel Coordinator

Responsible for managing full-cycle group flight mobilization and demobilization processes for various projects, including educational and Oil & Gas offshore deployments in the UAE.
Coordinate flights, hotel bookings, ground transport, and visa documentation to meet project schedules and client requirements.
Skilled in GDS platforms (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre) and corporate TMC B2B and B2C booking tools.
Experienced in vendor negotiations and RFP processes for airline and travel services.
Proficient in visa and international travel documentation requirements.
