Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract requiring ARRT RT(R) and an Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license.

Details

• Hospital-based CT department setting
• 3x12-hour night shifts, Saturday through Monday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• May be required to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• On-call responsibilities may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related Allied Health field required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• ARRT RT(R) registry required
• CT registry preferred
• ODH licensure required — license required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media administration and venipuncture required
• Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment in a fast-paced imaging environment

Additional Information

• Independently performs CT procedures utilizing proper techniques and contrast media administration within scope of practice
• Responsible for coordinating patient flow and CT scanner activities
• Maintains equipment in good working condition through professional judgment and proper operation
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Local Radiology candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to be considered for this position
