Description

American Traveler is hiring an LVN/LPN with 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and an active WV or compact license for a 13-week travel assignment on an expanding Medical Surgical unit.

Details

• Work on an expanding Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, which may fluctuate with census or call-ins
• Meditech EMR in use
• Night shifts scheduled 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:30) on a 36/48-hour two-week pay period
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active WV or compact LPN/LVN license required — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• First-time travelers should note this unit requires 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience
