Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN/LVN with 2+ years of experience for a 12-week night shift assignment in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility in Pipestone, MN.

Details

• Long-term care and skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 71 beds
• Patient population includes general long-term care residents and a rehab wing
• Patient ratios vary: 3 or 2 patients per nurse with a TMA on days; 2 patients per nurse on nights
• Charting is done using Point Click Care (PCC)
• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends on, 1 weekend off
• Holiday coverage required every third holiday

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• LTC/SNF experience preferred given patient population
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience beneficial

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of shadowing with another nurse on the first shift
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are subject to local pay rates
• No on-call or call-back shifts are available for this position
