American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN with Epic experience and outpatient clinic skills for a 13-week contract at a fast-paced outpatient clinic, with first-time travelers welcome.

Outpatient clinic setting covering Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics locations
-
Patient population spans general outpatient, urgent care, and pediatric cases
-
Performs a wide range of clinical skills including 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood glucose monitoring, IM/SQ/oral/subcutaneous injections, vaccine administration, telephone triage, throat specimen and nasopharyngeal swab collection, ear flushes, simple dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, medication reconciliation, specimen labeling, and pharmacy/refill calls

Scheduled for 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, plus rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Floating required to all FM, IM, and Pediatrics locations

Epic EMR experience required (preferred per additional notes)

Current LPN or LVN license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Outpatient clinic or urgent care experience required

Ambulatory and Pediatrics experience required

Current BLS certification required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Proficiency in rooming, injections, EKG, nasopharyngeal swabs, blood pressure monitoring, and ear flushes

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, dependability, and punctuality

2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are eligible at a different pay rate

Completed competencies expected include rooming, injections, EKG, nasopharyngeal swabs, blood pressure monitoring, and ear flushes

Rotating Saturday coverage is required in addition to standard weekday schedule
