Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN with cardiology and clinic experience for a Heart and Vascular Institute outpatient clinic setting in Rapid City, SD.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting within a Heart and Vascular Institute
• Patient population includes General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery cases
• Caseload of up to 22 patients per day
• Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
• 8-hour day shifts with no weekend rotation and no on-call requirements
• Floating limited to within the Cardiology clinic only
• 2 out of 4 holidays required, including the day after Thanksgiving

Requirements

• Current LPN license (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Completion of a board-approved nursing education program
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references dated within the past year required for consideration
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Supported by a team that includes an EKG tech, 3 Clinical Assistants (1 per 10 rooms), a Lead RN, and a Nursing Manager
• Orientation includes facility-level onboarding per protocol followed by 3–4 days of side-by-side unit training
• First-time travelers will be considered; clinic experience of any kind preferred
• Former permanent staff must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Full-week time off requests are preferred to be accommodated through contract extension
