Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) night shift assignment in Oklahoma City, OK.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) specializing in stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, amputation, complex orthopedic injury, and other condition recovery
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit featuring specialized equipment including low-stimulation secured units, monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, a dedicated therapy gym, and high-tech therapy devices such as the InMotion Robotic Arm
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care for inpatient rehab patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Travelers who receive an approved flu vaccine exemption must wear a mask covering both nose and mouth at the facility from November 1 through March 31; exemption requests must be submitted via the facility's online form and email approval must be obtained
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
